REQUIREMENTS OF THE CUSTOMER:

•Collect Data from Different Control Panels and Distribution Boards in order to know if any fault occurs in any area and solve the cause of the fault.

•The challenges were to design a rugged system with distributed IOs covering all site components. Data to be collected over Profibus communication from Remote IOs and Power Meters.

BENEFITS OF THE CUSTOMER:

•High availability of design and architecture has been implemented using Siemens Software and Hardware: Simatic S7-300 PLCs on the Controllers level, Simatic WinCC for the SCADA Software offering a wide range of alarming, trending, and reporting functions.

•Automate as Solution Partner was able to design and implement the solution based on its experience in the SCADA Field using the SIMATIC Family of products in terms of hardware and software.
